Moving with Jesus

What if you could go back in time and follow Jesus throughout his ministry? What if you were present at his baptism or heard his Sermon on the Mount or were there on Good Friday and Easter Sunday? No time machine can magically transport us back to Jesus. But we have the four amazing Gospels. Let’s read the Bible for Lent and reflect on key passages and close with heartfelt prayer. We'll get a great picture of Jesus. And our hearts will be captured and transformed by his great love.

Water into Wine

Monday, February 27 – Read John 2:1-11

John’s Gospel tells of seven signs that reveal Jesus to be God’s Son. In this first sign Jesus transforms a huge volume of water into wine to demonstrate God’s abundant grace.

Reflection Question: How do you see God’s transforming power at work in your world?

Prayer: Dear God, drench me in your mysterious, transforming Spirit of love. Amen.
